Meg had no idea what she was getting herself into when she accepted a job at the Private Club. She also hadn't planned on meeting a man like, Greyson Twining. A man who's handsome devilish looks made her forget her principals and her mind.
When Meg realizes that there is a lot more going on at the Private Club then she had ever imagined, she decides to stick around to try and figure out exactly what's going on. Only she never imagined that the truth could be so deadly and worrying.
Eventually, Meg finds herself stuck between her attraction to Greyson and the stark facts telling her that, Greyson is a bad man. A very bad man. Meg has to decide what to believe, her heart or her brain, before it's too late.

(too me adding this later book #1 does have more steam than they other books but don't let that get you silly, it doesn't mean the other 2 do not have steam, just 1 has tons more??!) they all came out in Feb 2014, I am shocked that they didn't work as 2 books, I am not sure how they decided to break it up into 3 books? I love the mystery side of the book, not that the other parts are not interesting or do not pull you in. They do for sure. I love Greyson, I tend to like the characters that most don't ...he is a totally jerk, but he doesn't tell you otherwise, u like it or don't??! what you get it there, there are no hidden mirrors. Now why I say there should be only 2 books, it seems you keep hinting around the point and where the book will head but it ending of each book kind of makes you think? Okay will I ever know the point? So glad for me personally that all 3 were out so I could see the ending. It is there. promise. If you are one who can wait, please do. so Worth IT!! I am totally new to J.S. Cooper and Helen Cooper ... not sure what they are? sisters? brothers? same person? hubby & wife? does that ever happen? that would be a cool team of writers? I will have to do my research. I am so glad I did find them and can not wait to see what else they do write. Book #1 was free at the time ...how I was sucked into the whole set. Must read. Loved it. And I would say that ending that mean book #3 has a HEA ending. check it out! ( :Product details

Each time I finish the second book in a trilogy, I am left feeling somewhat empty and anxious. The characters continue to develop but little progress is made in the story line...it is like sometimes a second book is written just to increase the intensity of the conclusion. And that's ok.
Without giving away any of the story, there is a steamy shower scene and we are blessed with knowing that Greyson does have a heart after all...maybe he isn't the Devil. Meg
seems to move between indestructible woman and weak, sobbing little girl. I am not certain what to think about Nancy and David. My gut tells me to trust no one (like I am THERE with Meg).
When Brandon appears at the end, I was relieved. His statement about coming clean about the club gave me hope that he actually is a good guy and I wasn't fooled in The Ex Games series.
Again, this book needed a better editor--as with the first book, there were a few typos and inappropriate commas--not quite as bad as the first book.
I enjoyed this book--good job of ramping up the tension for Book 3!! I can't wait to read the conclusion and I hope more characters are introduced so we can learn what happens to Brandon and Katie, Greyson and Meg....maybe they will all take off for a beach town in the Bahamas!! ;).
Can't wait for Book 3!
Meg is in it up to her eyeballs! So much mystery and intrigue that she just wants to find out what really happens at the Private Club and beyond. So she's stirring the pot and that puts her in the spotlight. There is so much going on behind the scenes that she is trying, so far unsuccessfully, to piece together and now doesn't know if the has what it takes to continue on. Then there is Greyson. Sigh! He puzzles her. She's prided herself on being able to read people and is being warned about him at every turn. She just doesn't get the vibe from him that the warnings are telling her to heed. Maybe because he's so freakin hot and she really gets discombobulated around him. When girls are going to be moved and another disappears, she's worried that she's next! Can't wait to find out what happens next! The next book is gonna be a doozy!

**APPLAUSE!!! They did it again and I am satisfied. Very satisfied.
I looooooove where the story is going and I appreciate how these amazing authors keeps you want to read more and more chapter after chapter. I felt it in book 1 but with this installment it is even better. This short series is simply enticing and rousing. It has the right amount of thrill, mystery and hotness and given that it is a short series, it is amazing. You think that you only get this thrill and excitement in long series or novels but no, you will also get it by reading this story. I know. It is short but worth reading.
Book 2 ended in a freakin cliffhanger and I expected that. Nonetheless, it was a freakin good read. I sure want more and I hope book 3 is longer than the last 2 books. I wanna know what Greyson Twining's deal is. He is such an enigma and the bad boy that you know you want to stay away from but can't help to know more about him. And it is such an adrenaline rush to know guys like him. Dangerous, mysterious and bad. Very bad. But he is also the type most girls dream of changing into something better. The Nightingale Syndrome, that's what they call it. In reality, it is stupid and absurd but at least for this story, I am hoping Meg is that woman who will break Greyson's wall and be his Kryptonite. So we'll see... There was a line right after Chapter 5 started that I will want Greyson to take back. I want him to eat what he said and I want him to realize that he was wrong. I am so excited!!! I cannot wait to read a scene where he realizes it all and it will leave him dumbstruck. HA!
Fans of this series will definitely love this 2nd installment and like me, they will want more and if possible, want book 3 to be released next week or this month or ASAP. Hihihihihi
I am one of the new fans of these authors and I can honestly say that they don't disappoint, at least for me and for this series. )
