The characters are fleshed out beautifully and they really came alive for me. The h (Lou) and the H are written so well that you can see them in your mind. This is just an amazing story and I whole heartedly recommend it.

I haven't been able to put this down. I had to finish it even though I was fearful as to how it would end. It is a love story with a twist that is addictive and enthralling and makes you want to believe there is something more out there and at the same time manages to strike terror at that very thought.
What if Death lies waiting and this one time makes a mistake? Can love be enough, can sacrifice ensure a happy ending for Lou and Enzo, compelling lovers caught up in a drama between greedy dimensions and feelings so strong they ignore the impossible to be together?
This was a beautiful story. Connecting to the characters was instantaneous and deep. They are both such vulnerable people that our hearts cannot resist. The author maintains a wonderful tension between them that keeps us glued to every page but it is the story itself that is captivating and well written.
Can't wait to read more from this author.
Such a creative love story. The characters come to life right out of the pages. If you like a good love story, with a bit of the paranormal feel, this book is for you. I almost want to read it again, now that know how it ends. I to go back and see if I missed anything.

Loved this story so very much. This author is a wonderful writer and storyteller.
I don't know how she does it but once you start, you are there, with the characters and in the story. Her writing style is superb and I am very much looking forward to any other books she puts out. Singing Fire was another one very much like this, although the story was different, it's the style that gets me.... Great character building and I felt like I knew them like a friend.

These books are movie material!
Lou has had a hard life. She has no family and just broke up with her boyfriend and has decided to leave town. She would never imagine she would be grabbed out of the clutches of death to have another purpose in life. One she would never have thought possible. The women in Lou's family have always been saviors and not known any strangers. Lou finds the love of her life but can they ever be together.
Touched by Death is not like any other book I have read before. Is there an "I'm between" life and death? A place where your not dead but dead enough? Lou has a brush with Death in away you cannot even imagine.

Lou is running from her past and her present. She learns so much about herself, and how strong a true love can really be.
