Lynn Kurland knows how to write romantic fiction that entralls the reader, without the seemingly obligatory steamy graphic details so many writers of romance use these days. I don't have any objection to descriptions of love encounters, but Ms Kurland doesn't need them to express love between her people. Her heroes are engaging personalities, her heroines are strong women, scenery and settings beautifully described without undue wordiness, and the stories imaginative and plausible. One finds that time travel really ought to happen! Her descriptions of Middle Age living conditions shows careful research and there are no obvious errors to jar the reader familiar with history. The only criticism I'd make, and this is so common these days, is that sometimes spell checker software has chosen the wrong English word. This is a very small mistake that scrupulous editing would catch, but it really doesn't detract from the stories themselves....just nitpicking on my part here. I don't know where Ms Kurland will find her next tale, as it seems with this story she's wrapped up all the characters we've encountered before, but I will surely watch for her next book with anticipation, as I've enjoyed each and every one immensely!

Lynn Kurland is a MUST READ for those of us who are time traveller/historical romance addicts! I have all but 2 of this series in my personal possession and have read them at least 3 - 4 times now. The service I have received from and their sellers of books has been outstanding - the books arrive on or even BEFORE I am told to expect them and their condition lives up or exceeds their description. I am VERY VERY pleased with !
Loved this book. Yet another winner in the series. Very well rounded characters and brought back loved ones from previous books. Kept me riveted to the end and I was sorry when it was done.
This Book is absolutely the best Story of the DePiaget Family. If You love Time Travel you will love this Story. If You love Romance you will love this Story. Read this Book and you will enjoy several hours of a very good Story indeed. I
I was new to ordering through the mail at this time so perhaps the mistake was mine. I was sent a audiobook instead of a book and
instead of sending it back I simply ordered another book. Well wouldn't you know I just resently tried to listen to the tape and it was a blank tape. I was disappointed to say the least. Oh yea, by the way the book was great. Lynn

Peaches Alexander is talked into going to a gathering in her twin sisters place. She meets up with Steven dePaiget, who is suave and likeable with everyone but her. He fell for her quite hard, years ago when they first met. He can't seem to act like anything but a complete idiotic 16 year old boy around her now. The story is about the interaction between them. It has some time travel in the the story. It is a very good read as all Lynn Kurland stories are. She is a great author, and I recommend any of her stories. I keep all her books for re-read at some later time, they are so good.

Sorry, I just don't get it. I've read Lynn Kurland's Nine Kingdom books and really enjoyed them, so figured I would like about anything from this author. That has not proven true. I have not read any of her other time travel books, and maybe that's part of the problem. I struggled through the first couple of chapters without knowing the back story of Tess and John. I've plodded on, forcing myself to keep going and waiting to feel a reason to keep going. I finally went to the computer to read reviews and see what others had to say and was surprised by all the 5 star reviews. They did let me know that it might have been better to start with another of the earlier time-travel books, but then many said the ending was not that great. So, I'm giving up. The characters don't impress me or draw me in.
All for You was a fun read.
I suspended disbelief and went along for the ride and actually enjoyed this book quite a lot.

I also liked the cover of the book as I really do not like depictions of people, especially people engaged in a private moment, on book covers.
Book cover art that is embarrassing is just not cool when I would like to pull a book out of my bag in the break room at work or while waiting in a doctors office or car repair shop. Bare chests, ripped clothing and heaving bosoms are definitely not my thing.

This book has a charming picture of a castle and when I was about half way through the book I noticed that the cover is partially a depiction of Bunratty Castle in Ireland.
My husband and I were fortunate enough to visit Bunratty a few years ago and I have a photo of my husband walking up that wooden foot bridge in a thick fog.
It gave me a laugh when I realized that I had looked at the cover for several days without really seeing it.
